  • Texas Cutting & Coring
We provide concrete cutting and coring services for any size construction project. Our specialties include: Diesel and electric flat sawing, control joint sawing, soff cutting, core drilling, wall sawing, wire sawing, and break, removal and demolition. Be sure to ask about our concrete scanning before you core!
  • Texas Concrete Sealing
Almost all damage to concrete is attributable to moisture intrusion: alkali-silica reaction (ASR), chemical intrusion, freeze/thaw, and corrosion of reinforcements. Protect your next construction project with Texas Concrete Sealing. We specialize in control joint and expansion joint sealing.
  • Texas Concrete Scanning
Scan before you cut to locate hidden obstructions in concrete! Concrete scanning - also known as GPR scanning - provides a real-time internal view of concrete slabs, walls and structures. The process is safe (no radiation), accurate and considerably more time efficient than x-ray.

Academy Sporting Goods Renovation
San Antonio, Texas

The old sporting goods retailer was being replaced by an office supply chain, which required drastic modifications to the exterior of the building. Using a wall saw, we cut tilt wall concrete panels and remove them with crane. With the tilt wall panels safely on the ground, we then cut with flat saw and hauled away.

Lake Buchanan Dam
Lake Buchanan, Texas

We employed our in house, custom built machinery that can cut horizontal and vertical – up to 14 feet high, and leaves no tracks. This machine is 3x faster as a wall saw, helped us blaze through the cutting of a 6’ pipe to fit and the cutting of notches to dowel back for spillway expansion.

Mary Hardin Baylor “Crusader Stadium”
Baylor, Texas

Texas Cutting & Coring received a phone call requesting some assistance with a recent concrete pour that had been poured at the wrong elevation. The section of concrete seating needing to be removed was 17′ high x 10′ wide. The thickness of the concrete ranged from 15″ to 28″.

Our plan of attack was to begin by properly shoring up the concrete from the basement below. Once that had been completed and properly inspected we began setting up our wall saw. Our initial cut was with a 30″ Blade, and then increased to a 42″ blade, followed by a 54″ blade and finished with a 60″ blade. We cut each landing into (2) pieces, each weighing Approx. 8000 lbs. From here we installed a series of metal pick plates with wedge anchors. The 8000 lb pieces were then individually lifted by a crane to a waiting flatbed tractor-trailer. Now that, the section was safely removed, the GC was clear to begin plans to pour the section that had been removed.
