• Texas Curb Cut
Our custom-built curb cutting machines are simply revolutionary in quality and accuracy. Our curb cutting specialties include: widening driveways, creating driveway approaches, establishing ADA (wheelchair accessible) ramps, and bridge parapit wall cutting.
  • Texas Cutting & Coring
We provide concrete cutting and coring services for any size construction project. Our specialties include: Diesel and electric flat sawing, control joint sawing, soff cutting, core drilling, wall sawing, wire sawing, and break, removal and demolition. Be sure to ask about our concrete scanning before you core!
  • Texas Concrete Sealing
Almost all damage to concrete is attributable to moisture intrusion: alkali-silica reaction (ASR), chemical intrusion, freeze/thaw, and corrosion of reinforcements. Protect your next construction project with Texas Concrete Sealing. We specialize in control joint and expansion joint sealing.
  • Texas Concrete Scanning
Scan before you cut to locate hidden obstructions in concrete! Concrete scanning - also known as GPR scanning - provides a real-time internal view of concrete slabs, walls and structures. The process is safe (no radiation), accurate and considerably more time efficient than x-ray.

Curb Cutting Machine

Texas Cutting and Coring is an innovator in the industry, pioneering the development and widespread use of the horizontal curb cutting machine in Texas. In the past, road construction projects that involved relocating driveway entrances where sidewalks or concrete curbs already existed was a very time-intensive process. This typically entailed extensive work of breaking and removing the existing sidewalk and curb, followed by the pouring of new concrete to create the driveway entrance. This method would often take days to complete and was extremely labor-intensive, not to mention expensive.

In the 90’s, our company, Texas Curb Cut (founded In 1997), transformed the way curbs are formed in Texas by introducing the horizontal curb cutting machine, which allows curbs to be cut vs. having to pull them. This revolutionary machine eliminated the need for concrete demolition, form setup and removal or pouring and curing new concrete. The curb cutting machine literally cut days of costly, labor intensive construction out of installing driveway entrances, access ramps, ADA wheelchair ramps, parking lot modifications and more.

After much persistence, it only took the convincing of “one” company to allow us to demonstrate the substantial cost and time-saving benefits of curb cutting, which was the impetus that forever changed the way curb ramps are created in San Antonio, Austin, Waco and throughout the entire state of Texas.

Technologically Superior Curb Cutting Equipment

Soon after, the need for our curb cutting machines grew exponentially and we found ourselves building curb cutting machines at night while cutting curbs during the day. Even as our business has expanded to include 4 divisions across Texas, offering a myriad of concrete cutting, coring, sealing and scanning services, we continue to be one of the leading curb cutting machine manufacturers in the nation.

Our rapid growth enabled us to acquire a highly skilled and experienced team of machinists, fabricators and welders. The talent of our manufacturing team is showcased in our technologically advanced concrete cutting equipment which is built in-house. Our knowledgeable crew who stays on top of the latest innovations in manufacturing technology enables our company to continually evolve to meet client and industry needs. We are able to customize our machines for unconventional applications like concrete bridge parapet sawing and chopping.

Our powerful horizontal curb saw is a high-speed, hydraulically controlled machine that only requires one operator with a centrally located control panel. The rotating diamond blade cuts through the concrete longitudinally at variable angles.

The savings in labor, material and time are quite substantial when using the curb cutting machine as compared to traditional methods. It has been approximated that the horizontal curb cutting machine reduces job costs by 60% or more.
